Position Overview
  • Johnson and Johnson Technology organization is currently recruiting for a Business Technology Leader (BTL) manager role for Consumer Sector Taiwan as a critical point of contact for the base business.
  • BTL is a strategic partner to provide insights and influence the business leadership teams to build strategic IT capability portfolio as a competitive advantage and an enabler for the greatest business value, execution with agility and operational excellence. The position will be responsible for connecting diverse stakeholders and partners to shape demands, prioritize and ensure greater leverage of technologies in compliance with the IT standards and policies.

Roles And Responsibilities

“Technology Strategist” who spans multiple technology solutions
  • Define and implement technology strategy that aligns with the business needs and expectations
  • Propose how to adopt and optimize innovative technology capabilities
  • Internal and external collaborations across functions, markets, and sectors
  • Actively partnering with Product Line Owners (PLO); sales, data and analytics, digital, information security and risk management, supply chain, and other JJT partners for developing future commercial capability roadmaps and executions

Investment Manager
  • Prioritize technology portfolios and investments
  • Actively participate steering major strategic IT programs to drive successful implementation and business value realization
  • Accountable for all aspects of delivery and subsequent IT expense and operations management with excellence
  • Comply with the IT process and management standards, privacy and information security standards, worldwide compliance, and local regulations
  • Leading significant commercial and functional transformation agenda via new ways of working using Agile, Lean and Design Thinking

Business IT Interface
  • Understands core internal IT products and ability to drive business value
  • Drives business partners towards standard solutions and adoptions
  • Partners with cross JJT BTLs or PLOs to share and ideate IT collaborations to increase synergies in leveraging technologies

Customer Focus and Management
  • Connects commercial business stakeholders to understand business priorities to enable and support strategic programs (inclusive of strong portfolio governance by aligning the business demands and direction with that of the enterprise IT capabilities)
  • Continuous improvement of the IT operating model

Enabling Digital Organization
  • Proactive to create initiatives for enabling work simplification, automation, and digitalization
  • Identify process “pain points” and early improvement opportunities
  • Build strong business cases to address needs (e.g. impact, feasibility, and investment required)
  • Create implementation plans including timeline, owner, and key milestones, and change management

Qualifications
  • At least a bachelor’s degree is required. A concentration in Information Technology as a core component preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of work experiences in Consumer or FMCG industries, and proven experiences in driving technology strategy and execution
  • Proven experience in working with business leadership teams, key stakeholders, multiple levels of functional teams, and synthesize their inputs into the decision
  • Deep understanding of business processes, ability to create context around key business drivers, and a business savvy consultancy ability with Agile mindset to apply IT in solving business problems and prioritize associated technology investments
  • Project management experience delivering medium to large technology projects from concept through delivery and operations
  • Experience in working and partnering with external technology vendors and service providers
  • Experience leading an IT organization/function, budgeting, expense management and operations
  • Able to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language, excellent verbal, and written communication skills with interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, exceptional service orientation, and achieve results in a dynamic environment is required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, operate with patience and integrity in a sophisticated, high-profile, and constantly evolving environment
  • Experiences on commercial solutions are preferred (e.g., IT solutions related to sales, digital marketing, 1st party data performance, eCommerce/new business model, data analytics based on big data or AI/ML, RPA, privacy & security, and/or other edge technologies to Consumer or FMCG industries)
  • Certifications or knowledge of operational frameworks preferred (e.g., PMBOK, Lean, Design Thinking, SDLC, SOX, GxP, etc.)
  • Experience in working with teams, partners virtually across countries. 10% domestic or international travel is tentatively possible
  • Fluency in English
